Development of a complementary model of training/development for officers
The overarching objective of the phase is to develop a complementary model of development and training for prison officers based on the concept of complementary training, which is authored by Professor Maciej Tanaś.
The concept of complementary education is the result of analysing the experiences stemming from the practice of educators, coaches and teachers and the opportunities created by modern information technology. In fact, the concept of complementary education seeks to preserve the value of traditional forms of education, while at the same time making creative use of what modern technology, in particular computer technology and the Internet, offers in training.
Basing on the model education and training programs will be modernized, as well new courses and training will be proposed in response to the training gap that has been studied at an earlier stage of the project.
